We are looking for a dependable, compassionate and experienced person to provide flexible part-time support for our teenage daughter with autism and developmental disabilities. She is nonverbal, sweet and active, and does best with people who are calm, patient, consistent and comfortable supporting individuals with significant communication needs.
This is not a traditional babysitting position. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted and consistent part of our daughter’s routine and our family’s support system.
Schedule is primarily weekday afternoon support with occasional transportation to or from school, after-school care and other assistance as needed. Hours may vary by week, so this could be an excellent fit for someone looking for a flexible part-time position in addition to school or another job.
We will provide schedules as far in advance as possible.
