We have a 13yo daughter with Down syndrome, non-verbal autism, and some significant mobility issues due to hip problems requiring a wheelchair/walker. She needs care on some days this summer on a flexible schedule.

Job Duties:
Feeding - can feed herself, but needs some prompts and some assistance
Transportation - hoping to find someone that has a car and can maneuver her so she can get out of the house and be exposed to social environments outside of the home more.
Diapering - she is not potty trained and needs to be changed, even when out and about. Will need to find creative ways to change her in the public sphere. You will be trained on this.

Job Skill Requirements:
Knowledge/willingness to learn how to use an AAC (iPad for assistive tech) to communicate with Eva and encourage her to use it to communicate back.

Ability to assist in moving up to 75lbs:
She sometimes needs to be assisted in the home, to transfer to the wheelchair, or to change her diaper.
