I have a 45 high functioning autistic adult with adhd, what iam am looking for is someone to take him one day a week, for 6 to 8 hours. His care needs are relatively simple he pretty much a highly intelligent 4 year old, at least thats where he is when he disconnects, basically he cannot disconnect unless he feels he is in a very safe and secure environment, some days he prefers to just nap, as he sleeps very little do to chronic insomnia. He likes to color, and play board games as well. It unfortunately cannot be done at his place as there is to many disturbances and interruptions. The previous caregiver that was assisting him unfortunately had to go back to work full time. If he could be picked up that would be great. The routine he typically follows is get picked up around 8, lunch at noon, hes picky about what he eats but not terribly, if it 6 hours drop him back off at 2 pm, if you wish to do 8 hrs, we usually encourage him to take a 2hr nap after lunch, then drop him off at 4. Like I said pretty simple. Obviously where he is autistic there are soms other specifics thay need to be discussed further. If you have any interest please feel free to message me with any questions, ill be as helpful as I can. The day of the week is flexible.
