Loving family seeking weekend caregiver for 16 yo son w/ significant, minimally verbal autism along with a 7yo sibling who is typically developing. Despite challenges, our son is happy, energetic, loving, & adventurous. Ideal candidate is able to be physically active & comfortable participating in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, swimming, etc.. Duties include home supervision, taking son on community outings in family vehicle, accompanying family on outings as a support, preparing children's meals, light clean-up, administering meds, assisting son with hygiene tasks & ADLs. Ideal candidate has significant experience with autism community. Must be dog friendly & have a good driving record. Training provided.

1 weekend/month. Schedule: Saturdays noon-9pm; Sundays 7am-4pm; $35-40/hr. Working weekends would alternate with 3 other weekend caregivers with plenty of opportunity for schedule flexibility.
