Seeking a kind, nurturing, and reliable caregiver for our affectionate and engaging 18-year-old daughter with significant developmental and cognitive disabilities.

Hours: 7:00–8:30 or 9:00 a.m., Monday–Friday (7.5-10 hours/week). Additional after-school, weekend, and school-break hours may be available.

Before-school responsibilities include following her established behavior support plan, diapering and personal care, helping her get dressed and ready for school, and assisting her onto the school bus.

Experience working with individuals with special needs and/or young children is preferred. Experience with ABA, developmental disabilities, PT/OT/speech, or as a career nanny is a plus.

Pay is through The Arc Central Chesapeake Region. First Aid/CPR certification and background checks are required.

We have an experienced care team and hope to find someone warm, patient, dependable, and interested in becoming a consistent part of her morning routine.
