We're looking for a reliable, patient, and trustworthy **part-time nanny/family assistant** to help support our busy household.

**We have three children, ages 9, 5, and 4. Our 5-year-old has special needs, so we are hoping to find someone who is compassionate, calm, dependable, and comfortable supporting children with different needs, routines, and personalities.
**Primary responsibilities may include:**

* School/daycare drop-off and/or pick-up
* Safe transportation to and from school, activities, or appointments as needed
* Helping with homework and after-school routines
* Preparing meals, snacks, and/or school lunches
* Light child-related tidying, such as cleaning up after meals, organizing backpacks, and helping keep kid areas manageable
* Engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, play, reading, learning, and outdoor time
* Helping maintain structure, routines, and a calm environment after school
* Occasional support with errands or household tasks related to the children
Ideal candidate
* Has experience with multiple children
* Has experience with or is open to learning about special needs care
* Is patient, nurturing, dependable, and proactive
* Has a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record
* Is CPR/First Aid certified or willing to become certified
* Can pass a background check (possible military installation transitions)
* Is comfortable communicating with parents about the children’s day, needs, and routines
* WILLING TO TAKE A COUPLE AIR FORCE CHILDCARE COURSES UNDER THE CCYH (Child Care in Your Home) Program.

Schedule:Part-time, exact days/hours to be discussed. We are mainly looking for help around school drop-off/pick-up and after-school hours. Once school is out were looking to transition to Full Time options
**Driving Range:** Between Lanham, Clinton, and Capitol Heights, Maryland
