Caregiver Needed (CLS/Respite) for an autistic 8-year-old boy

- $20.00 per hour

Looking for an individual for a CLS (Community Living Support specialist) / Respite position with experience in kids with special needs. This position is to care for an 8-year-old autistic boy who has behavioral issues, non-verbal, not potty trained and with motor coordination disorder. He needs assistance with basic activities like diaper change, eating, getting dressed, going up and down the stairs since his balance is not good and mainly keeping him safe since he tends to fall often, and he is not aware of risks. The individual should be very patient and gentle since the child is very sensitive. The selected candidate will be paid by MORC $20/hr. after background check. There are MORC training requirements which can be completed on-line. Free trainings: First Aid/CPR, Recipient Rights, Blood Borne Pathogen and behavioral issues. Prefer COVID-19 vaccinated individual. The working days are Tuesday and Thursday 2.5 hrs. each. During school breaks we will need more days and hours.
