My daughter is 23, autistic, and has limited verbalization. She prepares food for herself and handles her own toileting with only the occasional accident. We would just need an occasional sitter who can make sure she doesn't leave the house or use the oven, assist her when she needs help, and monitor for any emergencies that may arise.
