We are seeking compassionate and reliable individuals to provide care for our 4-year-old son, Gus, who has Phelan-McDermid Syndrome, while we are on vacation.. Gus is nonspeaking, autistic, globally delayed, and intellectually disabled, but he is overall an easy-going and joyful child. The position will include watching him while we are out and also accompanying us on outings to help with his care.

Postion will include:
◦ Using his AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device
◦ Improving self-feeding skills
◦ Reducing elopement in public settings

Times and days are TBD - looking for a mix of daytime and evening hours. May also include 6 year old sister for an evening so we can go out as adults.
