Our little guy is 10 years old and in 4th grade this year. He is on the spectrum but is very high functioning. "T" is a lover but when he gets upset he tends to become non-verbal (or he goes the opposite way and becomes loud and squeaky), so patience is needed along with someone who can calmly redirect his frustration. We also have a dog and a cat in the home, but you really don't need to worry about them more than the occasional pet or if/when they want to sit in your lap. We are looking for someone who can become a regular sitter for us so that we can do boring grown-up stuff without the little guy having to come along. It's much more fun to play make-believe Minecraft or Pokémon, than grocery shop with Mom and Dad!
