We are a young, active family looking for a college educated and professionally-trained Mother’s Helper and Family Assistant to support and act as another “set of hands” in: (1) helping us get a child to school; (2) picking up a child from school and; (3) taking a child to extracurricular activities, appointments, etc. We further need some light housekeeping support and some assistance with running errands as well as general babysitting.

We have two sons, ages 7 and 5, and a daughter, age 3. Each child will attend a different school in the Fall to include our youngest participating in a hybrid homeschool and alternative preschool program.

To commence critical hours that we need support are: (1) 7:30 am- 10/10:30 am during the week (Mondays-Friday); (2) 3 pm-5/5:30 pm during the week (Monday-Friday) and; on Saturdays for a few hours (more exact times to be known by the end of August).

A college degree is required. A background in special education, pediatric occupational therapy, and/or behavioral analysis would be encouraged. Flexibility and strong time management and communication skills are key. Our eldest and youngest children do best with 1:1 attention. As a consequence, we try our best to follow a staggered schedule. With our middle child starting Kindergarten in the Fall, each child will need 1:1 attention during the important times of day as listed above. We implement a combination of a “Montessori” approach and authoritative management approach in caring for our children and we constantly strive to strike a balance between the two.
