SELF-HIRE RESPITE CARE PROVIDER — RBT or Equivalent Experience
Posted by Asia T. on 4/11/2026
- $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Seeking a compassionate, energetic, and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or someone with equivalent experience to provide Saturday respite care for a wonderful 13-year-old girl with autism.
About the Role
This is a self-hire respite care position, not through an agency. You would work directly with our family to provide meaningful, engaged care that gives both my daughter and me the support we need.
About My Daughter
She is a joyful, energetic, and musical 13-year-old who loves trampolines, popcorn, and making up her own word games. She is autistic and primarily nonverbal with emerging speech. She communicates through a mix of words, phrases, gestures, and behavior. She is g-tube fed — training on tube feeding and care will be provided. She requires active engagement and supervision at all times. She is not toileting independently yet, but this skill is emerging.
