We’re looking for a reliable and patient caregiver to pick up our 12-year-old son from school and provide after-school care Wednesday through Friday, from 1:45 pm until 6:00–6:30 pm. School is near Lake Mead & Warm Springs; we live near Wagon Wheel & the 11.
He’s bright, high-functioning, and does best with a calm, consistent adult. Experience with special-needs children is preferred, but you don’t need a clinical background — just patience, structure, and strong communication.
Care in your home is preferred. We will provide food, activities, and anything else needed.
Requirements:
• Reliable transportation (school pickup required)
• Prior childcare experience beyond family members
• Strong communication and reliability — we pay on time and honor commitments, and ask for the same in return
• A calm, patient approach
Pay: $20–$30/hr, based on experience and whether care is in your home.
