We are seeking a compassionate and experienced special needs caregiver to provide daily support for our 11-year-old son with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) autism. This role involves offering companionship, educational support during online classes, and implementing effective strategies for emotional regulation.

Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote social interaction and personal interests.
- Assist and support our son during online learning sessions, helping him stay focused and engaged.
- Implement low-demand, child-centered approaches to create a comfortable learning environment.
- Use effective techniques for de-escalating emotional dysregulation, ensuring a calm and supportive atmosphere.
- Collaborate with family members to understand our son's unique needs and preferences.

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children with special needs, particularly those with autism and PDA.
- Knowledge of low-demand parenting and strategies for emotional regulation.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Schedule:
- Flexible hours, with shifts of a couple of hours per day, 3 to 5 days a week. Specific days and times can be discussed during the interview process.
