Would love someone who can support me and our family by providing occasional care and support (e.g.: school holidays, afternoons, weekends) for my 2 kids (4 yo undiagnosed ADHD girl and 6 yo diagnosed ASD and ADHD boy). They are sweet and fun, but love to test boundaries - it's key that the caregiver be firm, kind, warm, energetic, and interested in reading the IEP and hearing about how we approach communication and which skills we are working on (there are a LOT to work on so some are intentionally tabled for now). In the past, sitters have just watched TV with them but this is no good for a BUNCH of reasons so we need folks that will bring their a-game, creativity, energy, etc. These kids are smart and fun and learn fast, so it can be really rewarding! I just need to be able to decompress sometimes, or be sick, and my husband and I need to have an occasional moment together. I am burnt out and need help.
