Occasional Weekend/Date night sitter for my 2 kiddos; 3 and 4 years old, both on the Autism spectrum
Posted by Samantha J. on 5/30/2025

- $25.00 per hour

We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, and experienced in working with children with special needs. Our kids are full of energy and love engaging activities like drawing, playing games, and storytime. It's important to us that our sitter can provide a safe and nurturing environment where they feel comfortable and happy. If you have a background in child care or special education, that would be a great plus! We would love to hear from you and discuss how you can become a part of our family’s support system.
Additionally, we are still working on toilet training, and our son has a tendency to elope (run of, quickly) during outdoor activities. Therefore, it's crucial that they are watched closely for safety reasons ANY TIME they are outdoors!
Also, we have a teenage stepdaughter (age 16), but she is usually not home on the weekends. We also have a cat, he is short haired and does not shed much, but we have a crate that he can stay in while we would be gone if that would help.
Thanks! I look forward to speaking with you. Do not hesitate to reach out if you believe you would be a good fit for occasional (or specified) weekend jobs. This may potentially be overnight in the future; so if you are opposed to that please just specify from the beginning what you ate and are not comfortable with. Thank you ?
