Summer Support Specialist – Hamilton Pool Road
We’re looking for an experienced, reliable professional to help support our 17-year-old son, who has profound autism, this summer. This is a great fit for a teacher, para, or behavioral specialist who enjoys meaningful work in a supportive home environment.

Schedule & Flexibility
Dates: Late May through early August

Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays

Hours: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM (shifts to 11:30 AM – 4:30 PM during ESY weeks)

Flexibility: We have some flexibility in hours for the right fit.

Evenings: 1–2 optional evening shifts per month if you’d like extra hours.

Pay & Location
Rate: $40/hr

Travel: We pay for your travel time.

Location: Located off Hamilton Pool Road.

About the Role
Community Support: Assist with outings (I will join you for all outings to provide guidance).

Life Skills: Help with daily living and personal care routines.

Supervision: Provide consistent supervision at home while I work or run errands.

Requirements
Training: Preferred CPI or SAMA trained.

Experience: A background with profound autism.

Reliability: Someone comfortable with and dedicated to structure and routine.

Onboarding
We will start with a brief meet-and-greet at our home. You will also have the opportunity to shadow our evening caregiver to learn my son’s specific routines and communication style before starting.
