Caregiver needed for my mother (60s), returning home from rehab. She is primarily wheelchair-bound and needs afternoon/evening support.
Hours: range form 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. or 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Responsibilities include:
-assisting her when she arrives home from rehab and preparing a light snack
-allowing time for rest (about 1 to 1. 5 hours),
-light engagement and activity (fresh air, short time outside, basic mobility exercises)
assisting with dinner (meals will be prepared),
-helping her get upstairs using a chair lift (no heavy lifting required)
-evening routine including brushing teeth, changing clothes, and getting into bed
-bathroom assistance as needed (moderate assistance)-administering evening medication (training will be provided), --providing companionship and conversation. Looking for someone reliable, comfortable with mobility support and pets.
