Our nanny of 23 years is preparing to slow down and we are looking to fill in care for our special needs daughter with Rett Syndrome. Our daughter is 22 years old and has total care needs. While she can walk very small distances, she is non-verbal and has no hand use. She requires help with all ADLs.

We are seeking help in two areas:

1) full assistance five days per week to take the shifts from my nanny. These shifts run from 7:30am until 4pm;
2) An individual with a special needs or therapy background who wants to come do activities/outings with our daughter and caregiver a number of hours everyday

Individual must have experience with special needs and be able to physically handle an adult of 100 pounds routinely. Must be able to drive a mini-van comfortably. Must be attentive and be willing to communicate with someone who is non-verbal.
