I am looking for a caring and patient babysitter for occasional date nights or short outings (a few hours at a time). I have three children: a 7-year-old son who is autistic and non-verbal, a 5-year-old who is neurotypical, and a 1-year-old toddler.
The 7-year-old communicates non-verbally and does best with a calm, patient caregiver who is comfortable with autism or special needs children. The 5-year-old she is independent and playful, and My 1-year-old is an easygoing toddler.
Responsibilities would mainly include supervising the children, engaging in simple playtime, preparing light snacks or meals if needed, and assisting with bedtime routines if we are out in the evening. No transportation or heavy housekeeping is required.
We are looking for someone reliable, kind, and comfortable working with young children, including a child with autism. Experience with special needs children, and having CPR/First Aid certification is a must.
