We are looking for a compassionate, dependable, and patient caregiver to support an 18-year-old young woman with severe special needs, including nonverbal communication, Angelman syndrome, and epilepsy. The ideal caregiver will provide attentive care while helping her feel safe, comfortable, engaged, and loved.

Responsibilities

* Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, feeding, toileting, and mobility support as needed
* Monitor closely for safety and seizure activity
* Follow established routines, therapy recommendations, and care plans
* Help with stretching, exercises, and participation in speech or physical therapy activities when appropriate
* Engage through music, sensory activities, walks, games, and social interaction
* Support communication by learning her cues and preferences
