We have a special needs child Arthur who has Phelan-McDermid syndrome. He is non-verbal autistic and needs a high level of direct care. He has high sensory needs and requires supervision at near all times. He is generally a happy child and typically does not harm others, but if unable to communicate or if something is bothering, he can self harm if he stims too hard. We need some respite or care, especially on the weekends (and if available occasionally on a weeknight), chiefly during the day on Saturday, and possibly on Sunday afternoons.
