Our family is looking for a part-time/after school sitter for our 12 yr. old son with CHARGE syndrome, Autism, ADHD, and related disorders. The hours through the summer would be mostly flexible since he will be in an Extended School Year program for a half day (until about noon) for the month of July and will be home the rest of the summer. When the school year starts we would be looking for someone to meet him at the bus and care for him through his afternoon routine into the evening from about 2:30pm-6:30pm M-F although the schedule is flexible and may be subject to change based on the school/bus schedule. There may be opportunities for additional hours during school breaks and/or date nights. Individuals with experience caring for children with special needs is preferred but not required. Our family is hoping to find someone who is patient, kind, open minded, and willing to learn about our son's diagnoses including observing him while he receives various at home therapies.
