Patient and Empathetic Caregiver Needed for Special Needs Teen

- $30.00 per hour

My son is in a wheelchair full-time and needs companion care and occasional hands-on care. Needs supervision at all times. Must have reliable transportation and be a non-smoker. CPR/First Aid certified preferred, but not mandatory. My son is small *only 65 lbs* and so candidate must be able to properly lift and transfer him as needed. 20 hours minimum per week, and must sign up with Public Partnerships, which pays $17.98 hourly thru Virginia Medicaid. We will pay the $12 hourly in addition as supplement pay. The hiring process can take a few weeks before initial start date. Hope to find the right fit!
