Care for Jack-Non Verbal-Special needs

Posted by Anna C. on 2/13/2024

  • $12.70 per hour

We are in need of care for our 6 year old boy, Jack.
Jack is on the spectrum disorder and non-verbal. He is not potty trained and needs assistance with feeding, bathing, changing clothes, and almost everything else. Unfortunately, he is not able to communicate his basic needs and I will need a person who is patient and who understands what it means to be around special needs children. Jack will not be able to tell you when he is hungry or thirsty or when his diaper needs to be changed. I will need a person who will be able to anticipate his needs to avoid meltdowns. Jack needs care early in the morning at 6am until 7am (bus picks him up to take him to school) and then from 2:30 pm until 6:30 pm. You will need to feed him and getting him ready for school. When he comes back from school, he usually has a second lunch. Around 5pm, you will need to give him a shower and he has dinner around 6pm.
Pay rate is $12.70 per hour.
