Hi, I’m looking for a reliable and caring babysitter for my 11-year-old son, who has autism and ADHD. He is bright, energetic, and does best with someone who is patient, consistent, and structured.
Because of my current living situation, care would need to take place in the babysitter’s home. I’m looking for someone who has a safe, child-friendly environment and is comfortable providing care in their own space.
Details:
Occasional care (a few hours at a time, afternoons/evenings/weekends)
Must be experienced with children with autism, ADHD, or other special needs
Comfortable with meltdowns and redirection when needed
Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual
Requirements:
Clean, safe, and child-friendly home
Prior special needs childcare experience
Reliable transportation
Willing to provide references
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with sensory regulation or ABA techniques (not required, but helpful)
Pay: $16–$20/hr depending on experience
