Our family is looking for an energetic and flexible care-person to support our family after school. Our oldest son, Landon has Down Syndrome and requires a little extra supervision and redirection for safety. Mom works from home. The care person would be responsible to be available to get the 2 older boys (ages 12 and 9)off the bus at the house around 2:45 and have fun while mom works. Mom will pick up the youngest boy (age 4) from Pre-k between 4:45-5:15. The care person will stay home with the older boys and assist with snack etc. and support dinner preparations as needed. We're looking to avoid ipad use during the week so, games, outside play, movies, dancing etc. are encouraged. We currently have no pets, we do have a pool but all 3 boys are swimmers. Located in the Redmill area of Virginia Beach. We're willing to be flexible on timing and even days. Opportunities for sick/teacher work days and date nights as well. Option to onboard with state paperwork is available but not required for consideration. We hope you will be the right fit for our family.
