Title: Caregivers Needed for 15-Year-Old Boy with Special Needs – 6 Days/Week
Description:
We’re looking for two caring, dependable caregivers to support our 15-year-old son in our home. He does not attend school, so care will be shared between two caregivers. He is highly verbal, very curious, and needs supervision and guidance at all times.
Key Info:
Location: Woodbridge (relocating to Lorton/Springfield/Alexandria by year-end)
Schedule: 6 days/week, 6–8 hr shifts
Duties: Supervise routines, meals, and activities; engage in conversation; provide calm redirection; help keep areas clean (meals, room, bathroom, common spaces); assist with schoolwork, reading, and computer use (no teaching expertise required)
Requirements: Reliable transportation; special needs experience preferred (ADHD/ID a plus); CPR/First Aid a bonus; background check required
