I am currently 29 and have been working on and off with the childcare field since I was 15. I am currently employed as a supervisor at a residential care facility for youth with psychiatric, behavioral, and developmental disorders. Some of my past experiences have been; working with an after-school childcare program for a private elementary school (paid), working with a daycare program (volunteer/service learning), babysitting/nannying a 1. 5-year-old and a 3-year-old siblings, a 2-year-old and 4-year-old siblings, and an 8-year-old and 12-year-old siblings on a regular basis (paid), working with adolescents ranging from 12-17 years old with behavioral and emotional disorders (internship).
