If you are looking for a childcare provider that can provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which a child can thrive and develop. Look no further. My name is Miranda Nelsen, a junior in Agricultural Education at Iowa State University in Ames. I am an enthusiastic and energetic individual that loves working with kids. I am well experienced in the role of a childcare provided. I have been taking care of children of all ages since 2008. Most recently I have been working for a family in Nevada, Iowa caring for their 8 year old son. Before that I worked for United Community Schools in Boone, Iowa as a childcare associate where I was responsible for providing stimulating entertainment to as many as fifty children ages three to thirteen, as well as feeding them snack and other tasks such as changing, assisting in the restroom, and supervising with Read more outside play. I have also had practice in a teaching role through my education at Iowa State University and through swim lessons the past year. As a lifeguard and a water safety instructor I was responsible for planning and preparing the material for all swim lessons I taught individual swimmers as well as the Red Cross lessons taught to groups through our pool. This also makes me certified in CPR, AED and Firstaid.
