Taking care of children and babies is my passion! I am really looking forward to finding a nice family to work with. My first full time nanny position was caring for twins girls. When I started, they were 8-weeks-old, and they were almost 3-years-old when I left. I had studied how to care of two infants at a time, but I also found that a lot of caring for babies came from a combination of natural instinct and learning as I went. The books I read were helpful, but I learned that every baby is different (the twins could not have been more different from each other!) I was able to stay calm in chaotic situations, such as double meltdowns. I think my favorite part was feeding them and rocking them before naps. The babies grew into amazing toddlers. I have strong time management skills and patience. However, I believe my naturally nurturing personality makes me most qualified to wrk with children. I don't subscribe to a specific philosophy with children, but I definitely have my own style that I have acquired through my experience: I believe in love and comfort, kindness, graduated guidance, providing foresight, and encouraging creativity, independence, and intellectual growth.
