I am a stay at home mom of two boys ages 5 years and 1 year. Before becoming a mother I worked as a nanny. After I became a mother I worked in real estate appraisals and had to put my older son in daycare. I ultimately decided to stay at home with my son because of the lack of affordable and quality care I wanted for my son. The benefit for your child would be to receive the socialization from my children as well as an "at home" experience. I take my two sons on outings almost everyday. We go to Wheeler Farm, the library, all the parks in the area which include Draper, Wheaden Farm, Storm Mountain, and Flat Iron. During the summer months we also go to the Sandy and Midvale splash pads. We also enjoy hiking when the weather permits. Our favorites are potato hill, cascade Read more springs, cecret lake and donut falls. At home we read, play board games, sing songs/musical instruments and have free play with toys. We eat fairly healthy in our house. I try and do about 70% healthy real ingredients with about 30% processed throughout the day.
