With a love for nurturing and a passion for sparking creativity, I've spent immense amounts of time immersed in the joy and chaos of childcare. From counseling local programs to summer church activities, I've learned the value of fostering growth in young hearts and minds. Growing up in a bustling household, I've worn the hat of caregiver, especially for my sibling with special needs, instilling in me a deep sense of compassion and patience. My approach to childcare centers on safety, wellbeing, and open communication. I prioritize creating a secure environment where kids can explore, learn, and express themselves freely. Whether it's delving into art projects, exploring nature, or simply sharing stories, I aim to cultivate moments that ignite curiosity and imagination. My experiences have taught me the importance of clear and upfront communication with parents, ensuring trust and collaboration in the care journey. With me, families can feel confident knowing their little ones are not only cared for but cherished and encouraged to thrive in an environment that celebrates their unique personalities and interests.

I have babysat for many families over the years - for kids of all ages. I absolutely adore not only taking care of kids but being able to provide them with a nurturing, interactive, safe yet fun environment. Most recently, I was a part-time nanny for a sweet one-year-old girl and took care of her three days a week. In addition to making sure she was well-taken care, I helped out with housework such as cooking, cleaning/tidying, organizing, laundry and more. I'm more than happy to do anything needed since I understand how hard it can be for a family to balance everything. To my sadness, they moved to Greece but, of course, I'm incredibly happy for them My experience ranges from caring for infants to caring for autistic children. I've also taken care of multiple kids at once - like a family with a 4, 3, 2 and 1-year old, for one example. I first became a nanny while studying at UCLA and helped raise a wonderful two-year-old girl in Bel Air. For the next three and half years, I helped raise her - 5 days a week. Every single day we engaged in interactive and imaginative play, explored outside and worked on growing her overall knowledge of the world. I also worked at introducing various basic concepts like kindness and original thinking. I grew up in a family of educators and spent many of my early years in my mother's and sister's classrooms helping their students. For me, every moment with a child is an opportunity to help expand their minds and grow as an individual. Post-UCLA and after another year of nannying, I left California to serve in the Peace Corps as an Education Volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa where I taught preschool in a rural village to over sixty-six children. I also taught English to high school-aged children and some adults on the side. After returning from the Peace Corps, I found myself back in Los Angeles where I started to teach again at a private preschool in West LA. It was a wonderful opportunity where I was able to plan and prepare incredible, creative lessons for my students. A little more about who I am - my passions include yoga, Ayurvedic medicine, herbalism and cooking. I'm also working on starting a small business so saving up for that. While I do not have any of my own children yet, I I absolutely love spending time with kids and truly enjoy encouraging them to embrace life to the fullest. To make a child smile and to feel valued is one of my greatest pleasures in life

Hello! I have enjoyed babysitting, nannying, caregiving, and mothering over the course of most of my life. I began as a teen in my neighborhood and continued caring for children part-time while in college and working other jobs, right up until I had children of my own. My husband and I have raised four children, now adults and have flown the coop. I sincerely miss children! They are such a joy, so funny, curious, authentic, and precious. Because it was always very important to me to remain available and involved, mothering/homemaking was my main job during my children's growing years (for which I have no regrets)! I also have experience with developmentally disabled children, as I formerly worked with Easter Seals and Nolan Services. Now that I'm a young "empty nester," I find myself wanting to be involved with children again. I value a healthy lifestyle, which includes cooking and eating nutritiously, exercising, gardening, spending time with friends, and learning new things. I recently ended a caregiving job with a lady with Parkinson's, but because of an injury respite from physically demanding work became necessary. Presently I care for children on a part-time basis and have room for more part-time childcare. I also have experience caring for animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and smaller creatures. I'd be honored to come alongside you to help with the most important task of caring for your greatest asset, your children. I am also willing to include light housework, cooking, organizing, caring for plants and animals, assisting with schoolwork, and errands. Sincerely, Catherine

Hi! My name is Olivia Rivera! I am interested in babysitting because I love working with kids. I'm currently studying to become an elementary school teacher at CSU San Marcos. I've worked for the YMCA as a camp counselor, and I also offer softball lessons to local children. I love babysitting because I understand how helpful it can be to families who need childcare, and working with kids can be beneficial to both the children and me, as I aspire to become a teacher.

Hello! My name is Capri Quattrocchi. I’m 22 years old and recently graduated from UCLA (Class of 2025)! I’m currently back home in Santa Rosa and looking to connect with new families in the area. I have six years of babysitting experience, from newborn twins to young teens. I’ve worked with families in Sonoma County, and continued babysitting while attending school in Los Angeles. I genuinely enjoy spending time with kids as I believe they teach us as much as we guide them. I come from a big extended family and have grown up caring for younger cousins. I’m also the oldest of three girls, so looking after others feels natural to me, and I believe that helps me be a warm and dependable caretaker. I value safety, creativity, and exploration, and love supporting children as they learn and grow. I’m comfortable cooking, cleaning, helping with homework, and sticking to household routines. I’m happy to provide references from families I’ve worked with. Looking forward to chatting!

Hello! I’m a former professional nanny and SAHM of teens returning to my background in childcare as I navigate next steps after separation. I have extensive childcare experience with all ages, from newborns to teenagers, including ADHD and Autistic families. I’m a proponent of gentle parenting practices, active in my daily life, nature-lover, book-enthusiast, music-obsessed, very comfortable with pets, handy in the kitchen, happy to help with light housework, errands, etc. I respect children in their own right as their own people and truly enjoy spending time and sharing life with them. I’m very hands-on in terms of playing, yet also perhaps at my most content rocking a sleeping little one. I am also available for active support and companion care of seniors. Formerly CPR/First Aid certified and happy to renew as desired. Vaccinated. Clean driving record. Availability is fairly flexible and can include evenings and weekends. I’d ideally love to be home to help see my kiddos off to school in the morning, but that’s not necessarily a dealbreaker. I’m also still figuring out how many hours make sense for me right now and am open to cobbling together support for more than one family. 25-30 hours total is probably ideal but I’m open to more. Occasional or one-time jobs accepted as well. Thank you for your consideration and I wish you well in your search!

Hello! I'm a UCLA undergrad looking to help out babysitting where I can. I am from a big family and I have plenty of experience with kids, firstly from having babysat my own nieces and nephews. I have spent four years teaching kids how to swim so safety is always my top priority. I also tutored kids pre-k through 8th grade at Kumon Math and Reading Center. More recently, I spent the summer of 2019 teaching 7th grade Humanities at the Aim High summer school program in Napa. Aside from tutoring, and instructing, I have babysat kids of all ages. Some of my babysitting duties have included meal prep, getting kids ready for bed, playing outdoors, going for walks, tidying the house, and leading artistic activities. I am a highly creative person but also greatly value structure!
