Hello! I have enjoyed babysitting, nannying, caregiving, and mothering over the course of most of my life. I began as a teen in my neighborhood and continued caring for children part-time while in college and working other jobs, right up until I had children of my own. My husband and I have raised four children, now adults and have flown the coop. I sincerely miss children! They are such a joy, so funny, curious, authentic, and precious. Because it was always very important to me to remain available and involved, mothering/homemaking was my main job during my children's growing years (for which I have no regrets)! I also have experience with developmentally disabled children, as I formerly worked with Easter Seals and Nolan Services. Now that I'm a young "empty nester," I find myself wanting to be involved with children again. I value a healthy lifestyle, which includes cooking and eating nutritiously, exercising, gardening, spending time with friends, and learning new things. I recently ended a caregiving job with a lady with Parkinson's, but because of an injury respite from physically demanding work became necessary. Presently I care for children on a part-time basis and have room for more part-time childcare. I also have experience caring for animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and smaller creatures. Hi, I'm Elizabeth. I've worked with children since I was a teenager. I have my ECE credits and I was a preschool teacher for 12 years. I was also a nanny for a little over a year before I had my daughter in August of 2019. I would like to stay at home with her while I work. I'm wanting to watch an infant or toddler so that my daughter could have a little friend that would be close to her age. My daughter has a large bedroom and we have a decent size living room for a baby/toddler to crawl/walk on. We have a fenced back patio, but I can also take your child on walks in the stroller or to one of a few different parks that are easy to walk to if your child is old enough.
