Hello! I have enjoyed babysitting, nannying, caregiving, and mothering over the course of most of my life. I began as a teen in my neighborhood and continued caring for children part-time while in college and working other jobs, right up until I had children of my own. My husband and I have raised four children, now adults and have flown the coop. I sincerely miss children! They are such a joy, so funny, curious, authentic, and precious. Because it was always very important to me to remain available and involved, mothering/homemaking was my main job during my children's growing years (for which I have no regrets)! I also have experience with developmentally disabled children, as I formerly worked with Easter Seals and Nolan Services. Now that I'm a young "empty nester," I find myself wanting to be involved with children again. I value a healthy lifestyle, which includes cooking and eating nutritiously, exercising, gardening, spending time with friends, and learning new things. I recently ended a caregiving job with a lady with Parkinson's, but because of an injury respite from physically demanding work became necessary. Presently I care for children on a part-time basis and have room for more part-time childcare. I also have experience caring for animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and smaller creatures. Hello! I’m a former professional nanny and SAHM of teens returning to my background in childcare as I navigate next steps after separation. Formerly CPR/First Aid certified and happy to renew as desired. Vaccinated. Clean driving record. Availability is fairly flexible and can include evenings and weekends. I’d ideally love to be home to help see my kiddos off to school in the morning, but that’s not necessarily a dealbreaker. I’m also still figuring out how many hours make sense for me right now and am open to cobbling together support for more than one family. 25-30 hours total is probably ideal but I’m open to more.
