Hello! My name is Sabra. I’m 25, and I’m currently working on my graduate degree for occupational therapy. I’ve always loved kids, and I fell in love with my job as a paraprofessional when I graduated college initially. I worked as a para for two years in the SSN classroom, and I still try to substitute teach when I have time and I’m needed. I have worked as both an as-needed babysitter and a nanny in the past. As a substitute teacher, I have taught 20-25 kids at a time. I babysat here and there in high school, but from 18-25, I’ve gotten much more experience working with kids as a babysitter an in the public school system. I love kids for their unique way of viewing the world and for their amazing sense of humor. I have yet to meet a kid that hasn’t been able to make me laugh. Hey! I'm Abi! I am 23 years old and have been working with kids my whole life! I started "working" when I was 11, helping my parents babysit my siblings who are 4 and 7 years younger than me. I started volunteering at the Clearview Library in Windsor, CO when I was 13, and loved helping with all the events surrounding children! My favorite was the Reading Bugs bookclub for children aged 6 to 8. There we did crafts and had snacks and of course read books! I consider myself to be very craft-y. I loved making crafts with my siblings when they were little! I started babysitting for my friend with two little boys in 2021 when they were just 6 months and 3 years old. Since then I have worked as a household manager for a family with an 11 and 12 year old. In this role i took the kids home from school and to various after school activities, made dinner and kept the kitchen and living rooms clean and organized. I additionally have watched a 2 year old boy, taking him to the park, running around the back yard to find bugs, reading and watching shows (usually only when hes too tired to play anything else do we watch shows and he usually falls asleep on me before the first episode is over!).
