Hello! My name is Sabra. I’m 25, and I’m currently working on my graduate degree for occupational therapy. I’ve always loved kids, and I fell in love with my job as a paraprofessional when I graduated college initially. I worked as a para for two years in the SSN classroom, and I still try to substitute teach when I have time and I’m needed. I have worked as both an as-needed babysitter and a nanny in the past. As a substitute teacher, I have taught 20-25 kids at a time. I babysat here and there in high school, but from 18-25, I’ve gotten much more experience working with kids as a babysitter an in the public school system. I love kids for their unique way of viewing the world and for their amazing sense of humor. I have yet to meet a kid that hasn’t been able to make me laugh. As an occupational therapy student and with my teaching experience, I can help kiddos with their schoolwork or work on specific skills such as fine and gross motor or sequencing skills. I love to play with kids and just have fun too. Imaginative play is my personal favorite, but board games are a close second. I also love crafting and baking too! I always try to make a connection with the kid I’m working with through our likes and interests. I find that kids are much more open to a new person when they have something in common, even a favorite color. I also have experience with neurodivergent kids and kids who have more specific needs. As a previous para, I have experience with helping kids in dressing, hygiene, feeding, and various other skills. I am CPR and first aid certified. I am getting my education through Creighton University as a hybrid program where I watch lectures online and go to in-person labs at Regis University. I got my Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Northern Colorado. Thank you for reading through all of this, and I hope to hear from you soon!

Hi! I’m a responsible, caring babysitter with several years of experience working with children from newborns to 10 years old. I’ve cared for kids through family positions, volunteer programs, and church groups, and I’m certified in CPR and First Aid. I truly enjoy creating a positive and safe environment where children can learn, play, and express themselves. Families can count on me to be reliable, patient, and attentive to their children’s individual needs.

I have 25 years of experience in childcare, working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. My qualifications include CPR and First Aid certification, along with extensive training in early childhood education. I also earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2017. Four years ago, I retired from full-time childcare to help care for my grandsons. In my free time, I continue to work for Boulder Babysitters and Summit Nannies providing quality care for children and families.

about me . . . I have been working with children in different capacities for at least 40 years. I began by babysitting small children of the parents in our church. Approximately the same time I began volunteering in the Totally Mentally Handicapped classroom at the high school I attended. And no, they do not call it that any longer. We have come a long way in research, terminology, and especially teaching strategies since those days. I am sad about some of those changes and others I am extatic about. Since High School I have been to college several time while working and have become a mom to two children who are now grown. My studies in college were in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Applied Psychology. I managed an Associates degree out of all that! Whew! Some of the jobs I have held are : - Stay at home mom - Childcare Teacher - Childcare Assistant Director - Childcare Director - Respite Care Provider ) both with a non-profit and as a self employed Individual -ABA therapist - Substitute Teacher - Public School Teachers Assistant - public School SPED Teachers Assistant - Home Healthcare worker - Lyft Driver - Nanny If you have questions feel free to call or text at 843-990-3414

I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy working with kids and helping them feel safe, happy, and entertained. I’ve always liked creating fun activities, whether that’s crafts, games, or helping with homework, and I enjoy building positive relationships with children and families. It’s rewarding to know that parents can relax knowing their kids are in good hands, and I love being someone families can count on. I have 4 years of childcare experience through babysitting, Summer camp (CIT) roles, and volunteer positions. In addition to working with kids, I have several years of customer service experience, which has helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and responsibility, qualities I believe are very important when caring for children. I am responsible, dependable, and organized, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. I’m comfortable multitasking, staying calm in busy situations, and following parents’ instructions carefully. I can assist with homework, prepare meals, organize fun activities, and maintain a safe and clean environment. I am in the process of getting my CPR/First Aid license re-certified once I am home from college to be ready to take jobs this upcoming Summer! I always prioritize safety, kindness, and clear communication when caring for children.

I have been babysitting consistently for 9 years working with children ages 6 months-12 years and lots of twins! I am First Aid and CPR certified. As a babysitter its important to me to play with children as much as I can, keep them safe, as well as keep your house tidy so you can come back to an even cleaner home. I have experience driving children, and I also have a reliable vehicle. Outside of work I do art (craft time is my favorite!) esthetician services, and spend time with my dog. (Bonus points if I am able to bring my dog with as children love her but not necessary!) I'm also used to preparing meals and helping out around your home.
