Hey! I'm Abi! I am 23 years old and have been working with kids my whole life! I started "working" when I was 11, helping my parents babysit my siblings who are 4 and 7 years younger than me. I started volunteering at the Clearview Library in Windsor, CO when I was 13, and loved helping with all the events surrounding children! Since then I have worked as a household manager for a family with an 11 and 12 year old. In this role i took the kids home from school and to various after school activities, made dinner and kept the kitchen and living rooms clean and organized. I additionally have watched a 2 year old boy, taking him to the park, running around the back yard to find bugs, reading and watching shows (usually only when hes too tired to play anything else do we watch shows and he usually falls asleep on me before the first episode is over!). about me . . . I have been working with children in different capacities for at least 40 years. I began by babysitting small children of the parents in our church. Approximately the same time I began volunteering in the Totally Mentally Handicapped classroom at the high school I attended. And no, they do not call it that any longer.
