I have been working with children for almost 2 years. I spent a year working as a preschools teacher’s assistant with 3-4 year olds. Through that I gained a lot of experience and training. I loved playing and interacting with the children. Creating a safe and consistent environment to grow and learn in. Over the summer I was an AuPair in Italy for 3 months and took care of four children, two of them being twins, ages 1-3. It was an incredible experience and allowed me to be more involved in the everyday life and routine of the children and family. Since returning home from Italy, I have gotten the opportunity to substitute, at the preschool I used to work at, almost every week. This has allowed me to work with ages 18 months- 5 years old. Along with being a nanny for two children which has been a great experience as well. Then I was an Au Pair again this summer for 3 months with a different family who had two children. It is very important to me to put in my best effort everyday and put the needs of the children before my own. Insuring that they have a clean space to play and of course nice meals to eat. I want the parents to know that their children are getting the love and care that they deserve and wouldn’t wish to offer any less than that.
