I have been working with children for almost 2 years. I spent a year working as a preschools teacher’s assistant with 3-4 year olds. Through that I gained a lot of experience and training. I loved playing and interacting with the children. Creating a safe and consistent environment to grow and learn in. Over the summer I was an AuPair in Italy for 3 months and took care of four children, two of them being twins, ages 1-3. It was an incredible experience and allowed me to be more involved in the everyday life and routine of the children and family. Since returning home from Italy, I have gotten the opportunity to substitute, at the preschool I used to work at, almost every week. This has allowed me to work with ages 18 months- 5 years old. Along with being a nanny for two children which has been a great experience as well. It is very important to me to put in my best effort everyday and put the needs of the children before my own. Insuring that they have a clean space to play and of course nice meals to eat. I have always loved taking care of children. In my younger years, I taught gymnastics to preschool-aged children while I was in high school and during my first year of college. I also babysat frequently for neighborhood families. My husband and I have raised three amazing sons who I homeschooled part-time while they attended either private or public school part-time. After that, I worked as a nanny for a one-year-old little boy and a three-year-old little boy, until the family no longer needed a nanny while they were on extended maternity leave. I began working as a preschool paraprofessional in 2022 and I am in my second year working as a part-time preschool teacher.
