Sheri was absolutely amazing. We recently traveled to CT for a family wedding weekend and needed someone to watch our two small children during and after the rehearsal dinner and then on and off during the wedding day. After messaging a bit on the SitterCity app, she took the initiative to call me a week and a half before the wedding to discuss my needs for the weekend and learn more about the kids. Her kind and responsible manner was immediately evident on the phone. She was prompt (even early) both days and came prepared with loads of toys and activities for the kids. The kids immediately warmed up to her and seemed to enjoy the time they spent with her. Sheri even helped out during the wedding ceremony - when my son started to fuss, she just scooped him up and took him for a walk. Sheri just seemed to know how to help. My husband and I didn’t worry for a minute while our kids were in her care. I wish I could find someone just like her in my hometown of ATL! Definitely hire her, you won’t regret it.

Hey everyone! 👋🏼 I’ve been babysitting/nannying since my freshman year of high school, and I genuinely love spending time with kids! I’m here to make your life a little easier and provide a safe, fun, and caring environment for your little ones. I’m happy to help with more than just childcare, including light cleaning, laundry, and homework help. I have experience caring for children ranging from 8 months to 13 years old. I’m currently a junior at Western Connecticut State University, studying Speech-Language Pathology, and I’d love the opportunity to help out your family!

Finding someone you trust to care for your children is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. My goal is to provide a safe, dependable, and nurturing environment where children feel supported, engaged, and excited to learn and have fun. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Childhood and Special Education and am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I currently work as a Teaching Assistant in a self-contained special education classroom in the White Plains City School District, where I support students with a wide range of learning, communication, and behavioral needs. Before working in the school setting, I spent several summers at my local day camp, where I worked my way up from counselor to Behavior Director. In that role, I supported campers with behavioral needs, collaborated with staff and families, helped implement behavior strategies, and worked to ensure every child had a safe, positive, and successful camp experience. In addition to my work in education, I have babysat for numerous families with children of all ages. Whether we’re playing outside, doing crafts, reading stories, helping with homework, or following bedtime routines, I strive to create a fun, engaging, and structured environment where children feel safe, supported, and cared for. I understand that every child is unique, and I take the time to learn each child’s personality, interests, and routines. My goal is to build trusting relationships with both children and parents by being patient, dependable, and attentive while creating meaningful experiences for the children in my care. As both an educator and caregiver, I understand the trust parents place in someone caring for their children. I take that responsibility seriously and would be honored to provide your family with reliable, compassionate, and high-quality care.

When I was 12 years old I started helping my aunt with my little cousins and from there my experience with children grew. In high school I organized birthday parties for small children at a sports center. From there I worked at a day care teaching children ranging in age from infancy to school age, responsible for four to 10 children at a time. It was there that I fell in love with a family and became their nanny full time. At the time I started with them they had three children, ages 6 months, 2 and 4. With the family I was responsible for organizing their daily activities, driving them to preschool, activities, appointments, play dates, etc. Two years later I rose to the challenge as the family had another child. It was then that my organizational skills, my patience, and my passion for taking care of children expanded. I was not only a baby sitter for these children but became a member of their family. I describe myself as being energetic, compassionate, trustworthy, and dedicated.

Hi! My name is Lexi, and I'm 24 years old. I am currently in school at Naugatuck Valley community college. I have around 4 years experience working with children and genuinely love helping them learn, play, and grow. I started babysitting for families at my church and have continued caring for children of different ages over the years. I also worked at an after-school care program and a summer camp, where I supervised and engaged with children across a wide range of age groups. These experiences have helped me become patient, adaptable, and confident in caring for children with different personalities and needs. I'm responsible, dependable, and always strive to create a fun, safe, and positive environment for every child!

Hi Families, my name is Stephanie and I am 30 year old. I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and have been working at the same preschool for almost 10 years in New Fairfield. My experience is from infancy to school age children. I am good with pets. I am CPR, First Aid, and Medication Certified. My current hours at work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. I can mainly do weekends and nights, but could possibly be able to help with AM bus drop off in the school year and camp drop off during the summer depending on timing.

Happy Summer Mamas! My name is Jacqueline, I’m a stay at home mom to a funny & feral toddler. Prior to being a stay at home mom, I nannied for a local family for almost 5 years. My duties included transportation to and from school, meal prep for children and occasionally parents, light house work and a bit of household schedule balancing. I am a fun, loving and creative nanny who loves to just let kids be kids. This summer I am hoping to find a few set of parents looking for a date night, emergency, last minute sitter along with a part time nanny position. I would love to find a family looking for help a few days a week that would be open to my son tagging along! I am located in New Milford & willing to travel to surrounding towns

Hi! I am a nanny with 25 years of experience caring for children. I have a Master's Degree but have found that this is what I truly love. I have cared for 4 sets of infant twins as well as families with 4 children so I am very comfortable caring for and managing several young children. I have also worked with many families caring for their toddler and newborn simultaneously. I enjoy keeping children entertained through reading, outdoor fun and having an all around goofy time. I like to visit libraries, museums, farms and also a walk around the neighborhood in search of treasures. And I am a huge fan of arts and crafts. I like to employ creative and imaginative play and assure that children spend much time outdoors. I enjoy creating activities to help in a child's development as well as aiding them in meeting their milestones. I believe that keeping a child's body and mind active is essential to proper development. I have also worked roles where my duties included, but were not limited to, weekly grocery shopping and unpacking groceries, dropping off/picking up dry cleaning, family laundry, resetting the home, all aspects of pet care including administration of medication and trips to the groomer, making store returns and purchases, family laundry, keeping track of items that are running out, managing items related to the home (ie home repairs and deliveries) switching out summer/winter clothes, organizing children's closets and dressers, children's doctor appointments and activities. I have a patient and nurturing personality, am very safety conscious, a strong communicator and can provide calm authority with warmth and caring. I have a high energy level, am proactive and flexible. I believe in setting boundaries with children and instilling manners, respect and good listening skills. I am also very comfortable with pets as I have 2 cats and a super sweet dog (when he's not tormenting the cats!).
