Hello, I am from New York and moved to Florida a year and a half ago. I am a retired Nursery School Director. My love of children started when I began babysitting when I was 12 years old. I continued babysitting until I graduated college. I was an elementary school teacher for six years. I left teaching to be a stay at home mom and raised two boys. When my sons were teenagers, I returned to education part time and was a two year old head teacher at a church nursery school. I loved the children, the program, the other teachers, and I had a special connection with the parents. I did that for five years. I unfortunately had to leave the school to work and help my husband in his office. A few years later I was asked if I would be the director of the school. Since it was a morning program, I was able to work at the school and at the office . I held that position until I retired. I am still friendly with my staff and some of my former parents and students. At this point in my life, I would like to babysit part time. I love kids, pets, and pickle ball!

Hi, My name is Kim.  I have wonderful kids that are 21 and 18 and they are very independent. I have many other bonus children that I’ve spent time with on the basketball court, on the football field, or at Marching Band or Girl Scout events. I have a warm and nurturing personality. I’m able to draw on my many years of child rearing experience when when a toddler is teething, or if a child needs re-direction or just listen and support when they are struggling. Whenever I was 14 I worked with kindergarten classes at an after school program and enjoyed it alot. Then when I was 15 my mom got pregnant and I helped raise my little brother that is now turning 15. I had 2 kids under 2 now the first one is about to be 3 and the other is about to be 18 months. I love kids and the growth and personality that comes with them. I am 29 about to turn 30 this year and I love learning with the kids.
