Hi, My name is Kim.  I have wonderful kids that are 21 and 18 and they are very independent. I have many other bonus children that I’ve spent time with on the basketball court, on the football field, or at Marching Band or Girl Scout events. I have a warm and nurturing personality. I’m able to draw on my many years of child rearing experience when when a toddler is teething, or if a child needs re-direction or just listen and support when they are struggling. Before COVID-19 hit, I was doing vacation babysitting/nannying/mother's helper duties for families that visit Sanibel. I also work part time as a Caregiver for a 78 year old stroke survivor. Hi my name is Ivy. I am currently nannying for a sweet boy who will be in VPK coming this fall. I’m a very reliable, responsible, caring, loving person. I am looking for something part time preferably in the mornings ( 8-11:30 am) so that I am still able to pick up the boy I am still nannying for. I’m AED, CPR and infant certified. Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile. My experience caring for children dates back to when I used to go babysitting with my older sister as well as my mother to various families. I would observe and help out when needed. I started babysitting when I was about 14 years old, and started to nanny during and after college. I absolutely love children and have this unspoken connection with them. I have all the patience and understanding when it comes to children. I love to interact with them through the use of educational games and arts and crafts. I am never one to just sit back and watch. I love to get involved hands on and experience the fun with them. I have my BA in psychology and plan to go back for my masters in either school counseling or special education. I want to work with children no matter what I do.
