As a teen ager I always enjoyed babysitting neighboring children after school and during the summers. I now have 3 grown children in their 20's. When they were in school I enjoyed participating in their many activities including Girl and Boy Scouts. I also voluntered in their religious program. For many years when my kids were younger I used to care for a few children after school and assist with their homework. I have experience working with special needs children and am very patient and caring. I have worked in a school with special needs children for 5 years. I also have two nephews with autism in which I watch occasionally. For the past year I have worked as a senior Caregiver in the Sarasota area and have gained a lot of experience.
