I’m a current college student at Florida Atlantic university studying elementary education but I’m home for the summer! I started working with kids around the age of 15 and have been working in that field since! I started in a daycare working with ages 0-5 but specifically the VPK students (4-5), then I went on to volunteer in a kindergarten classroom for my senior year and am now employed at an elementary school in Boca raton where I work with grades k-5 but focus on my small group of 20 which are grades K-2nd! In high school I took an early childhood class all 4 years so it allowed me to gain over 10 certifications and go through multiple trainings such as: health, safety and nutrition training, child growth and development, safe sleep/shaken baby syndrome training along with many others I can provide! I decided to do babysitting during the summer because I’m looking for more work experience with children so I can strengthen my skills with them on top of giving parents/guardians a reliable and trusted outlet for help! Working with kids has been the best decision I’ve made, I love helping them develop intellectually and also emotionally while giving them a safe space to do so!

I have a nursing degree BSN and have worked with children ( all ages) for 26 years as a registered nurse in the Boston hospitals. Now that I can work anywhere, I choose I would like to take care of infants. I have always adored babies and I’d like to spend my retirement years maintaining the health of newborn babies. I spent most of my career working in the major Boston hospitals taking care of very sick people, including pediatrics. Now I want to take care of healthy babies.

I am a homeschooling, stay at home mother of five. I have much experience! I used to own a licensed daycare before having children. I am fully background checked, also certified in infant/child cpr and first aid. Our home is smoke, alcohol and cat free. We do have a small friendly dog who loves kids but can remain in her crate if need be. We are a more natural-minded family too!
