Hi I am currently a nursing student online . I am 27 years old and a mommy of 1 myself . I have a 6 year old daughter but I have been working with kids for over 6 years now. I have open availability and I am looking for something on the permanent side but okay with temporary and urgent need. I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy caring for children and helping them feel safe, supported, and happy. Watching children grow, learn, and express their personalities is very rewarding to me. I take pride in being someone parents can trust and someone children feel comfortable with. I am a childcare provider with 10+ years of experience who has worked in a variety of settings from science museums to Montessori schools in addition to extensive experience as a private nanny. My focus is working with neurodivergent children, and I bring to the table both work experience and lived experience. I have experience cooking for a variety of dietary needs (vegan, Celiac, Kosher, severe food allergies). I have worked with medically complex children that require oral and subcutaneous medication, feeding tube management, and other assistance with ADLs. Additional, I have worked as a paraeducator for ASD children and adults and have training on safely deescalating and interrupting harmful behaviors. I hold a "Basic Life Support" credential, which is the expanded " healthcare professional" version of a CPR/first aid class. In my downtime, I am a very active person and like to dance, rock climb, and do aerial arts (think Cirque du Soleil!).
