Communication is key both between parents and caregivers in a professional sense, and between caregivers and children in the sense that we are all able to express feelings, needs, and reasoning through words. I also grew up in a no-screens during the week household so I know how to come up with creative activities to entertain kids outside of a tv or tablet! I do enjoy the occasional movie night or video game sesh too :) My favorite part about working with children is watching them make connections. I have found that being with children gives me a new perspective on seemingly mundane aspects of life, and I thoroughly enjoy watching and helping them learn and grow.
