I have a ton of child care experience from being an Aupair in Rome and Paris for two Summers to a substitute teacher ages k-12. I have experience with infants and everything that comes with that, diapers, bottles, and all. As well as watched 7 kids at a time on a weekly basis. Being around children is very inspiring and sharing knowledge and creativity is a passion of mine. As a Summer camp instructor for ceramics studios and art schools I set the curriculum for various age groups from 4-17 years old. They enjoy activities like claymation, creating their own wizard and fairy houses, and wheel throwing (teaching 20 kids how to throw on the wheel is not easy, but never a dull moment!) I can help tutor your child due to my background in public schools and also find fun creative things to do. I love to be active, like hike, dance, swim, roller-skate and of-course fort-build. I'm an artist so painting, sculpting, drawing and even cooking are passions of mine. If you have a pet I have lots of experience taking care of my own animals, cats and dogs, as well as other peoples pets. Hello! My name is Greta and I in my third year of school at University of Cincinnati, majoring in neuroscience with the tentative goal to become a pediatric doctor. Outside of school I like to paint, draw, and sculpt, and I run a very small business selling clay pieces (it's very new and definitely still experimental, but fun!). I babysat for nine years back home in Cleveland and I have been lucky enough to babysit/nanny for some other wonderful families here in Cincinnati over the past two and a half years as well! Communication is key both between parents and caregivers in a professional sense, and between caregivers and children in the sense that we are all able to express feelings, needs, and reasoning through words. I also grew up in a no-screens during the week household so I know how to come up with creative activities to entertain kids outside of a tv or tablet! I do enjoy the occasional movie night or video game sesh too :) My favorite part about working with children is watching them make connections. I have found that being with children gives me a new perspective on seemingly mundane aspects of life, and I thoroughly enjoy watching and helping them learn and grow.
