I worked for a year as an assistant preschool teacher at a Montessori school working with kids aged 2.5-7, but I have worked with kids as old as 12. I currently work at Washington University as a research associate in the Psychiatry Department, and our study population is preteen girls. The most amount of children I have babysat at once is 5, but I am most comfortable with the 1-3 range. When I am babysitting, I prefer to get the kids moving and doing something fun! Whether that’s making up a game or playing with toys they already have, they will have my full attention.
