Hi, I’m Katie! I graduated from Creighton University in 2023 with a degree in psychology. I worked for a year as an assistant preschool teacher at a Montessori school working with kids aged 2.5-7, but I have worked with kids as old as 12. I currently work at Washington University as a research associate in the Psychiatry Department, and our study population is preteen girls. Currently, I am traveling but will be back sometime in October. I will definitely be around for the winter holidays if you need an extra hand! . The most amount of children I have babysat at once is 5, but I am most comfortable with the 1-3 range. When I am babysitting, I prefer to get the kids moving and doing something fun! Whether that’s making up a game or playing with toys they already have, they will have my full attention. I have tutored kids in the past, so I can help with homework and get snacks/meals ready for them. I can clean up around the house during my time with them as well.
