Hi everyone! My name is Taylor, I am a pre-nursing college student. I recently obtained my bachelors degree in psychology, and I am currently in the process of obtaining my second-degree in nursing. I am the oldest of 6 children, with 3 younger cousins, and previous experience working in a daycare and babysitting around my neighborhood, so I have plenty of experience with children of all ages! I am CPR certified and I am a CNA (certified nursing assistant). I have experience working with special needs children, and adults (working with those impacted with autism spectrum disorder in particular). I am a very organized and responsible person, and I have my own transportation. I am very passionate about children and I love working with them!

Taylor is very good with my infant girl. She is knowledgeable on care for her and requires little to no guidance. She also engages and plays with my girl; my little one absolutely loves her!

Hello! My name is Becky Burmester. I am an active grandma of 5 and was a foster parent for 25 years. With more time on my hands, I have recent babysitting references. I would love to help out other families. I have experience with all ages of children but most extensive experience with infants. I am first aid certified and cpr certified. I am COVID vaccinated. My philosophy is that as a sitter my sole job is to interact with the child(ren) and supervise all activities. I live near Buffalo and New Hope Roads. I am pet friendly.

We feel so lucky to have found Becky. She has watched our children twice and even rescued us last minute when another sitter cancelled, and each time she has been absolutely wonderful. She brings such a calm, experienced presence. It’s clear she’s very comfortable with children and knows how to balance being kind and warm while also maintaining clear boundaries. Our preschooler took to her immediately. On Valentine’s Day we returned home to lovely painted cards that were so special. As parents, the reliability and peace of mind she provides are invaluable. Knowing someone so capable and thoughtful is with our children allows us to truly relax while we’re out. We’re incredibly grateful for her help and would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a dependable, experienced, and caring sitter.

We had a wonderful experience with Barbara! She was amazing with my 2-year-old son—he connected with her right away and didn’t want her to leave at the end of the day, which says everything. She came prepared with toys that kept him engaged and happy, and she handled his routine perfectly. She even got him down smoothly for his nap, which isn’t always easy. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful babysitter.

Emily helped our family out for several weeks while we were without childcare. She cared for our 4 year old, 2 year old, and 6 month old. She was able to balance all three of their schedules and keep everyone happy. She showed up on time every day, came with fun ideas for crafts and activities, and had a very positive attitude. We wouldn't hesitate to ask Emily to care for our kids again!

Hello! I am Jordyn. I am 40 years old and I live in Zebulon with my husband and our 3 dogs. My husband is a night Nurse and is currently attending school to be a Nurse Practitioner. I have many years of babysitting/full time nannying experience but most recently I have been waiting tables and watching dogs and cats on Rover. I had to quit serving tables as my mom was very sick for 4 months and I lost her in February. The love I have for children and animals I got from her. To me, they are what makes life worth living. They don’t care about what you look like, or if you say something silly, it’s about the energy, heart and fun you bring to the table. I miss the innocence of childhood and being around kids reminds me of those good times. I also am an Endometriosis/Adenomyosis activist and am organizing a rally for more awareness and funding for both diseases. While I am a fun, creative and silly person, I am incredibly responsible. I am safe almost to an obsessive degree and I truly understand that not paying enough attention for one minute can be the difference between life and death. I check that doors are closed and nothing dangerous is around religiously. If I am lucky enough to be given a chance, I so look forward to taking care of your children(and pets!) If you would like to see my Rover profile, please let me know!

Jordyn has been caring for my kids since my son was a tiny newborn. As a first-time mom working late nights as a waitress, I was constantly stressed and exhausted, but she truly put me at ease. There is nothing like leaving your baby for the first time and feeling completely confident they’re in loving, capable hands. She gave me that peace of mind from day one. Now that I’m a mom of two, she has continued to be such a huge help in our lives. My son is autistic, and finding someone who truly understands that every child is different and needs patience, flexibility, and attentiveness is not easy. Jordyn has always met him with calm energy and genuine care. She takes the time to understand his needs and meets him where he is. As a special-needs mom, that means everything. My three-year-old is the opposite and naturally shy around most people, but with Jordyn she completely comes out of her shell. She laughs with her, plays with her, and somehow manages all that toddler energy in the best way. Jordyn handles both personalities effortlessly, which is not easy to find. She is incredibly communicative and dependable. She keeps me updated with pictures and videos, cooks dinner, follows our routines, respects my expectations, and approaches everything with professionalism and kindness. She has even helped with our family dog, which just shows how responsible and well-rounded she is. I trust her fully with my children, and I don’t say that lightly. Any family looking for someone who can handle newborns, special needs, and high-energy toddlers while bringing warmth and stability into their home would be lucky to have her. I will continue to use her whenever I can, and I’m truly so grateful for everything she’s done for our family.

Hello! I’m originally from Germany and have been living in the United States for several years. I completed a social psychology program in Germany and have extensive experience working with children of all ages in a variety of settings. My background includes work in preschools, early education support, leading a handball course for young children, homework help, and nannying for a family of six. During my first year in the US, I worked as an au pair for a family with four children, including three children under the age of four, providing full-day care from breakfast to dinner on weekdays. This included managing daily routines, meal preparation, diaper changes, potty training, school drop-offs and pick-ups, bedtime routines, and planning activities and outings such as beach and pool trips. I also have experience with newborns, twins, and children with special needs, and I adapt easily to different personalities and needs. Safety is always my priority. I am CPR/AED (BLS) and First Aid certified and hold advanced childcare training. I have a clean driving record, a North Carolina driver’s license, international driving experience, and reliable transportation. I can provide a clean background check as well as multiple childcare and character references from families I have worked with. I am a non-smoker, do not drink alcohol, and am comfortable with pets. I am interested in long-term positions but open to discussing various opportunities. If you are a loving family seeking a trustworthy nanny, I would be delighted to connect! :)
